Pinball game will run on old Ipad Air but not on Macbook Pro.

Hi.

How come i can not play an (old) pinball game (Williams Pinball) on my Macbook Pro(2017), but it runs pretty good on my 6 year old Ipad Air 2(16Gb, A-1566)

When i search for the game in app store on my Macbook pro i get a message: 'You need a device with Apple M1 chip to play this game.'

I'm pretty sure that my old Ipad doesn't boast any M1 chip...

The game is only 140Mb and no insane graphics.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 11.2

Evidently Big Sur is not compatible with that version of the game. Have you tried to contact the game developer asking if they have (or are preparing) a specific version for macOS 11 or later?
