IOS games on Mac

Hi. I downloaded a game from the appstore but the controls don't work. Whose side is the fault on? Developer because he didn't adapt the game, or Apple for adding this game to the Appstore? In the description of the game, it says in the requirements that the game is compatible with my MacMini M1.

It is up to app developers to ensure their apps work correctly on all platforms they have opted to support. Contact the developer using the support link provided on the app's page in the store.
