M1 Macbook Midi

First of all I am having a m1 MacBook Air and a Yamaha i425 keyboard. so when ever I try to connect my laptop with my keyboard, it does not connects, Please help me resolving this issue!

According to the user manual, it is compatible with Windows 98 and XP and it's been discontinued for some time. So, there may be another problem with 32 bit software since it is rather old.Here is a link to the Yamaha user manual site:
