NFC problem

I added my card to Apple Pay. After double-clicking on the home button, the added card appears on the screen. After entering the phone password, the inscription - Hold Near Reader to pay is displayed. I bring my phone to the terminal and nothing happens. I placed the phone from different sides, and with different distances from the terminal - nothing helps. I tried to pay in different stores, but, at none of the terminals, I was unable to complete the payment. The phone doesn't respond in any way. I did a hard reboot of the phone. What can I do without completely resetting my phone?
