JUNK MAIL

Junk mail is marked ***SPAM*** but stays in the in box - how do I automatically delete it? I haave spam email set to move to Junk - bit it doesn't go. Same on iPad and iPhone

That helped - with the Mac - it now OK on my mac but still a problem on iPhone and iPad.



If Junk mail is not working for you as expected you can turn it off in Mail>Preferences.

The more you use the Mac and Apple Mail with Filters enabled - the better the iOS devices will see and recognize Junk and automatically move to Junk Folder. Now, on the iOs devices, there is not Junk Filter by definition but there is a " Block and Option to Leave in Inbox or Move to Junk. To enable this on iPhone >> Setting >> Mail and see picture below
