Hi, i recently made a purchase using apple pay and discovered the product was faulty i planned on taking it back but over the weekend my iphone met its end and is unusable the screen is just smashed and black.
i know they will ask to refund to the same IPhone so my question is HOW on earth do i get a refund now???

The refund should be made to the payment card behind ApplePay. The actual phone need not be involved.

You can use another device to check your payment card online to verify the refund.

How did the screen get smashed?
So, you bought something which got smashed this weekend and you're expecting Apple to refund the purchase of a destroyed product? I'm confused..........
I was too, it may have failed prior to the smashing but Apple certainly isn’t going to allow a refund.
Absolutely. If it is smashed, Apple is not going refund the purchase at all.
