My airpods have been perfectly fine but recently the left ear doesn’t work for phone calls. I can still hear but the mic doesn’t work for that ear. I’ve tested the mic on other apps. You can hear me fine when i take a video..it seems to just be phone calls?

Try this:
Open the Settings app and go to the Bluetooth section. Next to the AirPods entry on the list of devices, you should see an “i” icon inside of a circle. Tap this, then select microphone, and set it to either left, right or automatic. Try switching it back and forth.
Then, test with the Voice Memos app.

Thank you! This was helpful but i think it might be water damage or something :( I can only slightly hear myself when i shout.. other than that it’s just a static noise... I dropped an airpod down the toilet before but this was a while ago and it’s only recently stopped working so i didn’t think that was the problem
