Since updating watch I no longer receive activity notifications

Since I updated my Apple Watch Series 4 with the latest update I have stopped receiving activity notifications. I no longer receive stand notifications or notifications when I close a ring or breath notifications. I have tried restarting my watch, restarting my phone, toggling the activity notifications on and off but nothing seems to fix it. Anyone else having this issue and have any fixes? This extremely disappointing and half the reason I got the watch was for getting the notifications. Keeps me on track with my fitness goals.
