Removing bookmarked webpages from my home screen

When i edit my home screen, these bookmarks don't have the X or - to be removed. Help.. I'm trying to do some phone cleanup and it's really annoying. :)

I removed my first reply because I realized that you are talking about deleting bookmarks for web pages, not deleting apps. This is what you should see when you tap and hold down on the web shortcut.

What do you see when you hold down on the shortcut?
