Demo updating cannot connect to server

I recently bought an iPad pro and when I tried adding the device to my carrier and connecting to the internet via cellular data. The iPad stated "it could not connect to the server".

You appear to have an Apple Demo unit in your possession.


As Apple do no not sell any units with Demo versions of system software installed, this would suggest that you have obtained a shop-demo device that has been stolen from an Apple Store or Apple Authorised Reseller.
