Apple pen not working on illustrator draw or procreate on ipad

Is anyone having issues with using their apple pen on their ipads on illustrator draw or procreate?

At first it was lagging then i unpaired and paired again and it connects but it just does not work, I can use my fingers on those apps but not the pen.
