I have just purchased the Apple SD card reader, and nothing comes up in my iPhone 12 Pro Max.
I've read all fixes and comments but nothing in either my photos or files app to allow me to import from the SD card.
Help?

What are you trying to import to your phone? The SD Card reader for iPhone is for importing photos and videos. If you are trying to upload files, you can't.

Open the Photo App, then connect the SD Card reader and install the card. As long as the photos/videos are coded correctly for import to an iPhone. They should be in a 8 digit format, like jpg05678
Importing photos and videos taken on a go pro - some of the comments said it was popping up in their files app is the reason i mentioned/tried it.
