It sounds like your battery parentage isn't showing. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.
If you are using a newer iOS version, you can swipe down to enable control center and your battery percentage will be visible.

If the issue persists, can you provide a few more details? Which iPhone and iOS version do you currently have? Also, what do you see when you check your battery life?
