Warrenty of a purchased Apple Watch

Hi,

I am wondering how the warranty of an Apple Watch 6 works? I got one as a gift for the past Christmas, and I'm wondering if it automatically comes with a 1-year warranty. If so, would I have to provide information about the person who purchased the Watch, or no further information is needed?
