Unable to connect to Verizon after upgrading my iPhone

Internet is working but I’m unable to connect to Verizon or use the phone option. Do I need to stop in the brick and mortar?

This is probably because the active SIM card is still in the old iPhone. Normally you would transfer the active SIM card from the old phone to your new iPhone. Your new iPhone is an iPhone 12 and Verizon requires that your 5G compatible iPhone has a 5G SIM card installed. So, your are right, just walk into a Verizon store and they should have the 5G SIM card for your iPhone and you can have it installed and activated while you are at the store.
