AirPods Second Generation faulty right airpod

I've been using my second generation airpods since 2019 and no issue on my microphone. Recently my receiver told me they can't hear me and my voice goes on and off. So I test out my airpods and realised the right side microphone is not working on my iPhone 12 Pro. I've connect to my older phone iPhone Xs the microphone is working but delay. When i record 1,2,3,4,5 with voice memo, i can only hear a soft 4 and then 5. which means 3 seconds delay. Anyone is having this issue?

tried to reset and reconnect nothing helps.

Hello,

Start here:

How to clean your AirPods and EarPods

Then try this:

Open the Settings app and go to the Bluetooth section. Next to the AirPods entry on the list of devices, you should see an “i” icon inside of a circle. Tap this, then select microphone, and set it to either left, right or automatic. Try switching it back and forth.

Then, test with the Voice Memos app.

We have the same issue with our AirPods second generation. the sound only comes out via external holes in the earbuds. no sound from where it is suppose to come out. both the left and right have the issue. cleaned by Apple Retail location same issue. Paired to different device same issue. Reset AirPods same issue.
