Bluetooth Issues with Big Sur

Bumping this question from mousiesophie "Hello everyone!

Ever since updating to Big Sur I have had issues connecting things with bluetooth. From searching the only things I can find are temporary fixes and I have to restart my MacBook every time.

I have been resetting the bluetooth module and restarting to fix it. But after a while it stops working again. It will say bluetooth is on, but won't allow me to connect to my AirPods. So I would try to turn it off and then back on, but it wouldn't allow me to turn it back on at all. This is when I found I would have to reset the bluetooth module and then restart.

This most recent time I tried opening the terminal and typing something I found in another answer, but I have restarted my computer after that as well, so I don't have it copied anymore.

Nonetheless, I was wondering if there is anything I could do that is more permanent fix and doesn't requiring restarting my computer every time I want to connect my AirPods.

Thanks. "

Update macOS if an update is available. Usually updates will have bug fixes in it.
