I need to get rid of the “other” storage In my iphone, possibly without resetting my phone? I just need help. it’s taken up most of my storage and it’s tiring. i cannot download one single app or take a picture on my phone. help.

Try as instructed here: How to Clear "Other" in your iPhone's Storage - Use Backup - User Tip
You may need to connect to your computer to update it depending on how low your free space is. Updating will solve this problem.
What version of iOS are you currently running? Do you regularly backup your iPhone?
i backup my phone almost every day, bit confused on what you mean about version, i have the iphone7 and i haven’t gotten to update to the latest update.
