Outdoor Cycling does not get reflected in the Activity tracker as an exercise
Apple Watch SE, watchOS 7
Let me explain - activity tracker tracks all other form of work out - weights / functional / golf etc. However, while cycling workout gets reflected in the tracker but does not contribute to the exercise or the calories burnt rings - am struggling to understand if thats by design (if yes, then doesnt make sense) or is there a mapping error in my watch

Try going for a bike ride
Move your watch up your wrist about 1/2" (1.5 cm) to make it tight
And ride at 16 kph (or faster) constant (not average) for 15 minutes.
If you don't go below 16 kph at any time.
It should register.
How fast do you travel and for how long?
Post a screen shot of your workout.
Not sure if you can see the screenshot that i uploaded because i cant!
to answer your questions - my last ride was for almost 12 ks on an average speed of 13.9km/h, which was covered in 50 mins
Not fast enough
I've read that you need 15.7 kph for it to count.
I guessing that some of your minutes counted but not all.
No minutes counted..
Sure, will try.. although one thing that i do not understand - the cycling workout shows XX calories - which should ideally get added to the calories ring.. it does not
