Anti virus iphone apps

Today, I started seeing the message below when trying to log onto one of my email accounts.

I do not recognize the “Microsoftonline” name and could not confirm through Microsoft Support that it is legit.

I also received the same message on my iPad.

I tried to do the same thing on my Wife’s phone (same model as mine - 12 Pro-Max) and did not receive this message.

I also tried it on an older 6 iPhone and again, did not receive the message.

I am thinking that somehow I caught a bug.

any thoughts?

If you have recently updated to iOS 14.5, this is normal. This is a new security/privacy feature that shows you how often some apps want to know what you are doing on the internet.

A non-jailbroken phone cannot get a virus. Due to the sandbox nature of a phone, any antivirus app would be useless.

No such product is required for an iPhone.
