I have a iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2012 version, I can't upgrade my software past 10.13.6 and now I am running into alot of wall with thing I can not use on the Imac because a later version is required, is there anything I can do?

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, and click on Mojave or Catalina. If you encounter a specific issue, describe it in this thread.
