Hi there, ged194! Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.

We know how important it is that your iPhone stay the right temperature, and we're here to help. Do you ever see temperature warnings on your device, telling you to stop and let the iPhone cool down before further use?

If not, this article gives some great information on when your iPhone might be a bit warmer than normal and how to keep it within acceptable operating temperatures: Keeping iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch within acceptable operating temperatures.

Please let us know if you have follow-up questions about this issue, or if the issue remains unresolved. Have a great day!

thanks for reply. No temperature warning. It only gets warmer when im charging it and im still using it with wifi or any other apps open.

but when i charge it without using it for 30mins, no heating up.

im using iphone before but it doesnt get warm even i use it while charging. Now it seems 12 promax gets a bit warm near the camera if you keep using it while on charging the battery.

We appreciate you getting back with us, ged194. If there are no temperature warnings and the iPhone warms up a little while charging, this doesn't sound like anything to worry about. It's not unexpected for your iPhone to warm up a bit in situations where you are charging and using the iPhone at the same time.

We hope you have a fabulous day and take care!
