Airpod Max microphone not working

Just bought Airpod Max headsets and although the sound is good, when I am making calls people are commenting that my sound is muffled, hard to hear, etc. Any idea on why this happening?

AirPod Microphone Not Working I’ve recently noticed that my left AirPod no longer works during phone calls. While I can hear the person on the other end of the call, they can not hear me and instead only hears static. Has anyone else had this problem and is there anything I can do to fix it? Thanks!!

My Airpod microphone is not working My AirPod microphone is not working on either AirPod. It doesn’t work on any device. I’m wondering if there is a problem on the actual microphone or if it’s a technical issue. Could anyone help me fix them or determine what the issue is?

My microphone did not work when paired with 15" MacBook Pro on an MS Teams meeting. The control panel indicated I was not muted, but the headphone was not transmitting. I checked security settings and MS Teams is allowed access to microphone.
