I finally WARILY upgraded to Mojave.

Why have the flags in Mail changed to text?

The post I'm linking from had poor answers.

And what happened to my screen saver photos?

What else has been changed?

That's why I always hesitate to upgrade. I never know what'll be taken away or changed for the worse--with no warning.

Dedicated Mac user for 30 years.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.14

Simple fix. Just quit and restart Mail. Seems to be working so far.
