Edirol Interface not working with my Mac

I have been using my Edirol USB Audio capture UA 25 interface with my Mac Pro MacOS Big Sur 11.2.3 with no problems at all. Then today all of sudden it will not communicate or even turn on when i plug it into my mac please help!

Sound input devices not recognised My MacPro does not display two devices under sound input and output. I have a Logitech Camera that works properly with images but does not accept sound input. It is also not recognised as a sound input device. Another device is my headset that has worked fine until recently (maybe yesterday). Now both devices are not displayed as sound input, and the headset not as an output device. There are two displays with speakers and a sound device, all working fine. I have been using both under Monterey for some months. At the very beginning, they both had disappeared from the system. I cannot remember how I repaired them. Does someone know a remedy?

Sound output select in Sound control panel not working in Ventura Choosing the sound output from the sound control panel does not work on Mac OS Ventura. Have to switch outputs using the quick menu in the menu bar. This is arguably more convenient, but still not working as it should. Not really asking a question, just documenting the bug.

USB hub malfunctioning on iMac with Monterey I have a Satechi USB hub iMac Stand which was working fine on my iMac with Big Sur. I just updated to Monterey and now the audio (headphone) socket is not working. In the menu bar, "iMac Stand Audio" appears momentarily in the list of audio output devices when I plug headphones in, and then after a few seconds the menu item turns to grey and cannot be selected. I had read that generally Monterey was causing problems with hubs but that Apple approved units (such as Satechi) were not affected.. Can I do anything to fix this issue? Thanks, Bill
