Magic keyboard middle row stopped working

The middle row keys of my wireless Apple magic keyboard (gen.1) are not responding. All keys are working fine nut the keys a to l are non responsive. I’ve tried it connecting with iPad and different iPhones, same result. Tried removing the key board from the bluetooth-list (forget) and reconnect (which works incl. entering the pairing code) but middle row still not functioning. Tried shutdown of iPad and iPhone, also no result. Tried cleaning the keyboard (thorougly) and inserted brand new batteries, all no result. Help!

Thank you for posting in Apple Support Communities. From our understanding, you have a row of letters on your Magic Keyboard that will not response when selected, do we have that right? You've done some awesome troubleshooting so far and have isolated the issue to the keyboard itself by testing it with different iPad and iPhone and it is doing the same thing. You may want to reach out to Apple Support for possible repair or replacement options. Depending on your region, you may be able to reach them here: Get Support.
