hi so i have had my phone for less than a year and every time i check the battery health it’s constantly decreasing. it’s at 93% which is awful for having this phone only 8 months. i still am under apple warranty. is that something that is covered ?

It is not "awful". It is completely normal. Batteries naturally lose their ability to hold a charge with use and age.
When it reaches 80%, it needs to be replaced.
