Apple Pay Confirmation Number

Hello! I have ordered a few things using Apple Pay, from multiple companies, and none of them have given me the typical confirmation email with tracking information, order confirmation number, etc. I see that this question has been risen multiple times, from multiple shopping outlets, and the answer seems to be to "take it up with the company"... but... seeing as this issues exists across multiple E-commerce sites, I struggle to see how it is on us consumers to resolve it.
