How do I move an app from the files folder to my Home Screen

I have accidentally moved an app into my files folder. I have no idea I have done this however. How do I move it out of the folder and onto my Home Screen?

With iOS 14, there are new ways to find and organize the apps on your iPhone — so you see what you want, where you want.

...

Here's how:

  1. Touch and hold an empty area on your Home Screen.
  2. Tap the dots near the bottom of your screen.
  3. Tap the circle under the page that you want to hide.
  4. Tap Done.

I’m not trying to hide anything, I am trying to move an app from the ‘Files’ folder onto the home page or any page that’s not in the files app. The ‘Files’ folder is an Apple folder, it is not a folder I have created and it doesn’t have the same functionality as a folder I would create.

if I do click and hold the app within the files folder I get the following options:

Copy
