Problem after 7.3.3 update on apple watch 6

I updated my watch last night and today it won't come out of sleep mode. It is a month old and useless in sleep mode. Any suggestions?

Have you tried a forced reset by holding in the side button and the digital crown for 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo then release.

Yes, I tried that, no change. I touch the watch it shows a dim view of the time, then press the digital crown it shows the bed icon then it shuts off.
