the adapter might actually work faster then displayed - I need to check this later.

The higher speed options above 1GBit are not being displayed, however do work. Jumbo Frames are not configureable out of the box - a driver is needed.
If you want to avoid hassle then go for a Sonnet Solo 10G or maybe DeLock USB C Adapter/Thunderbolt 3 auf Gigabit Ethernet LAN 2, 5 Gbit NBase-T 2.500 Mbps RJ45 Buchse, 65990
Also hab ich ein bisschen tiefer in die Tasche gegriffen und einen
Sonnet Solo 10G mit Aquantia ACQ107 chip drin. Das ist glücklicherweise
der gleiche Chip, den der iMac Pro nativ verwendet und Apple bringt den
Treiber nativ in Big Sur mit
=> Funktioniert perfekt ohne Einschränkungen. Direkt Plug an play, 10Gbit möglich, MTU9000 möglich.
Also Zusammenfassung: Entweder man lebt mit instabilen Einschränkungen
oder man gibt knapp 200€ aus.. mit den aktuell verfügbaren Treibern
machen die günstigen Lösungen keinen Spaß. Vielleicht tut sich ja noch
was.

QNA-UC5G1T - doesn't work with a speed higher than 1GBit - should be capable of 5 GBit
