I reset my iphone to factory settings, now i cant pair my apple watch since it is asking for a 6 digit password (on the watch) I never inputted, prior to erasing its contents and settings (required to re-pair). thoughts?

Use the iPhone’s passcode from before the reset.
If I understand correctly:
The Apple Watch defaults to using a four digit passcode, but this can be overridden. What type of passcode had your Apple Watch used?
iphones previous code was alphabetical, the watch’s is only numerical, 6 digits
