Hi there, Abslord! Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are unable to play songs in Apple Music. We definitely understand that not having that access can be a concern and we'd love to help. Let’s start by taking the following steps, which may help with this unexpected behavior.
Please follow the guidance here: If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library
Take a look at section "If you can't find or play a song" to assist with getting Apple Music working again on your iPhone.
Make sure Sync Library is turned on so you can access all your music in your library. This will guide you: Turn on Sync Library with Apple Music
If the issues persist, test on a different network and see if you can play your Apple Music account from a different device, if possible.
Please let us know if you have follow-up questions about this issue, or if the issue remains unresolved. Have a great day!

Hi @gena_d, thanks for taking the time to help.
I spoke with Apple Support and we worked out (after lots of troubleshooting) it was an Apple Music Apple uninstall and re-install that was required fixed it.
thanks again!
