Factory Resetting old Iphone 5 with Itunes My old iphone 5 is disabled from too many incorrect password login attempts. I am trying to reset it to factory so my daughter can use it. I am able to power it off and then hold the home button while plugging in the charger cord from the computer. The apple logo comes up then the itunes. But the itunes on my windows computer is not showing it recognizes any device and its not popping up with the typical message window it should be, its just sitting there, no changes. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you!

Ipad mini My iPad mini is saying that it can not be opened because I tried to many passwords and it says I need to connect it to iTunes but I don't know how. Every time I try it doesn't do anything and it doesn't work.
