Hi All,
I have an iPhone X with a loose charging port. Every time i try to charge my phone via cable it does not respond. May i know if any help can be provided on this from Apple service centre as one of local apple care told me that the entire phone will be replaced costing 60K INR which is just weird.
Please help me on this.

Take a toothbrush (one you aren't using) and gently clean out the port. You may have dirt, lint, or a foreign object in there that is preventing the plug from making contact properly with the port.

Apple does not do any field repairs except for screen and battery replacement. They will not replace the charging port, but instead will replace the phone. If it is out of warranty there will be a charge for the repair. You may be able to find a local shop that can replace the port. This will void the warranty, but if you don’t have one anyway, it won’t really matter.
I guess going to a local shop is the last options as i've tried every thing that could have caused the issue. Thanks
