I need my all the time u charge me for Apple TV because I never use and also when I bought my phone they told me is free for a year.

Why I been charged for the service when it was free for a year with my new Apple phone

- You will not be charged for subscriptions that you did not initiate. Every subscription will be started by the user.

- During the paying subscription periods, fees will be collected, whether you use it or not. That is how every subscription works. You have to manually cancel subscriptions that you do not wish to continue.

- If you started the Apple TV+ subscription by accepting the 7 day trial, then you will not get the free year.


First find out exactly what you were charged for. This will be specified in your purchase history.

If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support

See your purchase history for the App Store, iTunes Store, and more - Apple Support

See your subscriptions overview - Apple


If you still think that you may qualify for a refund after the above investigations, then read here: Request a refund for apps or content that you bought from Apple - Apple Support
