I want to cancel my YouTube subscription

I have tried to cancel my subscription but got email that said they were not able to locate my account based on email address.

If you subscribed via the App on an Apple device and were using the Apple ID you use now, see here to cancel it: link-> How to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support

If you subscribed directly on the website, or an app on a non Apple device, then you will need to work with YouTube directly to cancel it.

You need to work with YouTube Support if the subscription is with them.
