"Now Playing" App Not Working on Apple Watch

For some reason, my now playing app is no longer working. It is stuck on one song I played yesterday and will not update to reflect what is actually playing via my iPhone. I can only control song volume via my watch and cannot skip or change songs.


I shut down my watch and restarted it multiple times, and it automatically opens up the "now playing" with the same stuck song screen. I unpaired and repaired it to my phone. Turned on and off the app refresh for now playing. Literally, nothing is working!


Very confused, as this watch is brand new (only had it for about a month). This never happened with my series 2...

It sounds like you already did most of the basic things you could do to resolve the issue. Since it is a relatively new watch and (I assume) still under Apple Care, I wouldn't do much more. Contact Apple about getting it repaired or serviced:
