Phantom reflection - iPhone XR Front Camera Image

UPDATE: I just looked at my phone and noticed there's micro cracks all over my screen protector that I didn't see before and one goes RIGHT across my front camera.... I have solved my issue (LOL)

I have been looking for this answer but its hard to describe for a google search. I recently noticed my that when I take a photo on the iPhone XR from camera, there is a "phantom reflection" of MYSELF in the image. I am not having an issue with "ghost lights" as many people are, but it's an entire copy of part of the image.

I have an example here because it is so weird - I was trying to take a selfie with my cat but then I noticed my entire face was "phantom" reflected right next to my actual face. I have tried in different angles and lightings but nothing changes this. What is causing this reflection and how do I fix it?

Hello,

Try removing the screen protector and then test again. Also see:

If the camera or flash on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch isn't working

Good luck.
