au files invisible in Finder but exists in MacCommander M1

When installing au-plugins to my m1-mac the component files are invisible in Finder /audio/plugins/components but are there in MacCommander. Seems invisible to Garageband too.

And, yes I set invisible files to show. Grateful for any help.

Fiddled further by moving the component file with MacCommander (as root) to desktop and then it became visible.

Used Finder to move it back to Components directory and now it's visible, go figure?

I originally installed by using an installer but can't see why that would make a difference.

Still won't show up in Garageband but that's another issue.

/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components

Press option to see Library in Finders Go-menu

Not that it should make a difference, but these two things do not add up.

/Library is the overall library folder

The one you get to with option-Go is ~/Library

Components in the overall library should be accessible to all users, the one in ~/Library belongs only to your account.

I will try to make some tests tomorrow - the thing that is bothersome is why those are not available in GarageBand.

Can you tell which specific plugins are involved?
