Newby to Mac here: Should I update with Big Sur now?????

I have a Mac Air 2020 13" and have yet to update to Big Sur after hearing how many troubles people had after updating. Should I update now? Or will I be frustrated?? I am still learning how to use my laptop as I'm new to Apple systems.

It is up to the user.

Updates come with security enhancements, bug fixes and new features.

I always keep my computer updated.
