For the braided solo loop band, my methods works best and gets into all of the nooks and crannies of the braided solo loop band.
Mine looks look new after a month of use with some grime, skin oils and dirt from a sweaty wrist and some small juice or coffee/tea stains.

Soft toothbrushes ( and even old,,used toothbrushes ) are not very abrasive and certainly NOT nearly as chemically abrasive as some household cleaners.
AND you do not need to bare down on the toothbrush to clean the braided loop band.
The toothbrush acts, more or less, as a dirt/grime/oils loosening agitator.
Gimme a break, already.
Hello!
The response below is from Apple's Support page. I hope this helps. Stay away from heavy abrasive cleaners.
Gentle soap and baking soda in some warm water. Seal it in a mason jar and shake away.
CLEAN AND DRY YOUR BAND Remove the band from your Apple Watch before cleaning. This cleaning information applies to Apple-branded bands only. For all other bands, follow the care information provided with the band.
For leather bands:
For Solo Loop, Sport Band, and Nike Sport Band:
For all other bands, buckles, and closures:
* Leather usually takes on a patina after normal wear. The leather might also change color due to exposure to substances like perfume, insect repellent, oil, lotion, or dyed materials like denim. The Apple Watch and band colors may vary or fade over time.
Dish detergent ( I use DAWN dish detergent ) and wash/agitate/clean with a toothbrush.
I then pat dry with a towel and then let the braided band air dry the rest of the way.
Your method may work wonderfully. It’s a bit labor intensive and seriously abrasive which goes in direct contrast to what Apple has given guidelines too. In short there are multiple solutions and anything that’s against Apple guidelines typically voids the manufacturer warranty. Cheers, best wishes.
Toothbrushes from soft to hard bristles can remove enamel from teeth. Take that for you will. Dawn dish soap is far from gentle, head over to the USA EWG page it’s harsh. Warm water and a gentle cleanser with baking soda in a jar is far more effective. Baking Soda softens the water to allow a gentle soap(not detergent) to work more effectively. Now I don’t think there is further need to comment. The solution has been found and it seems as though you’re attempting to troll on this persons discussion.
