Gmail app is greyed out.
I can't open gmail. When I open mail app on iphone se 2020, gmail is in parenthesis and greyed out

We understand you cannot open your Gmail app. We can help with that.
To get started, check for updates on your iPhone and in the App Store for the Gmail app. If you have any updates available, please install them and test further.
If the app is greyed out, it might also be offloaded to save space, if you see a download icon as well, go ahead and tap on it to redownload the app and then you should be able to open it again once it's reinstalled successfully.
If all else fails, delete the app and redownload it from your purchase history using these steps: Redownload apps and games from Apple
