Remove Web App from iPhone Home Screen

I have a link to a website installed on my iPhone Home Screen.

I no longer need this web app but I cannot delete/remove it.

When I touch and hold the app, all the other App Store apps “wiggle” and show a minus sign in the corner but not the web app shortcut that I wish to delete.

I also do not have a device management profile installed on my phone.

There is no “Profile” option in my iPhone Settings.

My software is up to date with 14.4.2

I have not been able to find any processes for removing such a website shortcut.

All suggestions, both in Apple Support and in external sites, only go as far as “pressing and holding the app” and deleting using the “x” or “-“ icon - which I do not have.

First go to Settings >Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store and turn Deleting Apps to Allow. Then go back to the Website Link on your Home Screen and then try deleting it.
