When I try to sync my iCloud email, i get and error. It isn't my password, I was able to change it but i cannot get into iCloud on any devices. Started last thursday afternoon it just give error on response from server.
on my iPhone, the no real error just a server connection failed message.
my phone is not backing up to iCloud.

If you're having trouble with your iCloud email, let's go ahead and remove the account and add it back, using Mail server settings for iCloud email clients and Add an email account to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch for reference on setting it up.

Did you start a chat support session and explain the problem. I think its user specific and not system wide.
Already did, went through chat, 2 different times, got disconnected but both were very good in identifying that it was beyond their capabilities and escalated. About an hour later, everything started to work. The techsupport was great in that they both admitted that they hadn't see this issue before but it got resolved.
I have same issue. It's been 3 days now WTF!!
Apple Mail unable to connect here as well on my Mac mini and also my iPad and iPhone. System status says that there was an issue that was resolved. Not for me apparently.
No, but it has since resolved. Working now.
