I-cloud Data breech scam— again????

On April 11-12, 2021, I’ve received numerous calls (12-15) that my I-Cloud account has been breeched and I should call Apple Support (@ number given) immediately or press 1,2 or3 (various options to access “information/support). I assume this is a total scam and a renewed effort to get people to respond to a scammer. Am I correct in assuming this is an annoying scam attempt? The last 4 digits of every call are different.

You are correct. It is a very common scam attempt.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to ignore the calls or hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
