Hi there,

There are various workflows spending on the task at hand. I can give you an example...

Let's say you are editing Midi. You may need a combination of the Pointer, Velocity, and Pencil tool.


The Pointer would serve as the primary tool, velocity will be a detail tool of sorts, and the Pencil will create the Midi events to create and/or edit your overall performance.


This is only one of MANY workflows.


This is a very personal thing contingent on your knowledge, experience, and inclinations.
