Ipad or MacBook
Hi,I bought MacBook Air 2016 five years ago and now I want to know if I’ll buy ipad pro 2021 i still need to buy macOS 2021 or not??
i use my mac for movie,PowerPoint and Microsoft word,does ipad meet all my needs??

Supported updates to OS X for your MacBookAir are free, as are updates to iPadOS which
is the operating system on iPads.
You can watch movies on an iPad. Microsoft offers a version of their products
for iPad, but I do not believe those versions have all the features of the version
for your laptop. If you do not use the unsupported features, it would not matter.
Suggest you contact Microsoft for further information on their products.
An iPad will come with Pages and Keynotes which are Apple versions of
Works and Powerpoint.
