Hello there. Odd one happened today. iPhone XR - speaker/microphone works with all apps (camera, notes, etc.) EXCEPT the phone/FaceTime. Bluetooth works fine.
What is crazy is that it doesn't even work with a hardwired Apple headset.
Any ideas why the speaker/mic would work everywhere but the phone?

Hmm, I don't have any specific solutions, only some general things to try:
1) Restart the phone
2) Speakers: If you hear no sound or distorted sound from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch speaker
3) Microphone: Get help with the microphones on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
4) Wired headphones that don't work is generally debris in the charging port: If your headphones don‘t work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
5) Cellular issues: If you can't make or receive calls on your iPhone - Apple Support
