How to clean junk from Mac using Finder.

For most files, start using the "Go" menu and explore Documents, Desktop, Downloads etc. Any files you no longer want, drag them to the Trash. Then, look through the Trash and make sure nothing was dragged you really need. Then, empty the Trash.

Using the Finder is simple: drag this unwanted material to the trash and empty it. There's nothing magic about it.

How would you define junk? Old documents, contacts, tax records what? By the way, is there any reason you feel it needs cleaning up?
